Grammar
What is Grammar?
Before learning grammar, first one should have a heads up of
what grammar actually. Grammar, in simple words, is the structure of any
language or the science of a language.
It works like a skeleton which supports the whole system of
language. As a language must have structure, some patterns & order according
to which it works.
Definition:
According to Oxford dictionary grammar is “the rules in a language for changing the
form of words and joining them into sentences”
The structure and system of a language, or of languages in general, usually considered to consist of syntax and morphology.
Grammar is the system of language. People sometimes describe
grammar as the "rules" of a language; but in fact no language has
rules. If we use the word "rules", we suggest that somebody created
the rules first and then spoke the language, like a new game. But languages did
not start like that. Languages started by people making sounds which evolved
into words, phrases and sentences. No commonly-spoken language is fixed. All
languages change over time. What we call "grammar" is simply a
reflection of a language at a particular time.
The Role of Grammar in Learning a New Language:
Do we need to study grammar to learn a language? The short
answer is "no". Very many people in the world speak their own, native
language without having studied its grammar. Children start to speak before
they even know the word "grammar". But if you are serious about
learning a foreign language, the long answer is "yes, grammar can help you
to learn a language more quickly and more efficiently." It's important to
think of grammar as something that can help you, like a friend. When you
understand the grammar (or system) of a language, you can understand many
things yourself, without having to ask a teacher or look into a book.

Language
What is language?
Although there are
dozens of definitions of what language is, but it’s not that easy to
define language in a bunch of words. So, here I am giving a definition of
language though not perfect but is a good one.
“A language is a system of communication which consists of a set of sounds and
written symbols which are used by the people of a particular country or region
for talking or writing”.
People speak a certain language because of their need to communicate, & what better source is there, than language itself. Now imagine how difficult it would be without language. It’s actually quite unthinkable to imagine a world without it. Human beings are social animals and for them a communication system like language is a must.
Why English only?
A very important question, why English only? Why not Chinese, Hindi, Urdu or any other language? People always say English is an international language, but what does it really mean. It’s the most spoken international language because it is easy to learn, it’s easy to adjust in any kind of language like it can borrow words from other languages as well as its words are used in different world languages.
The second reason for its popularity is that it’s the language of those people who are excelling in the field of arts, medicine & technology.
The third reason, it’s the language of trade. It’s a medium through which the world community communicates.

Think one of your own definitions of language & share it with us in the comment section after watching this tutorial.

A New Beginning
Assalam O Alaikum,
Hello Dear Viewers, it's I, Uzair Ahmad, a professional teacher from Pakistan, starting this blog to facilitate the masses. As I have always believed in "Sharing is caring" in its true sense because we help ourselves when we guide or facilitate others. Because teaching not only helps a learner to learn new things but also makes the teacher more connected with the subject material, & broadens his/her concept each time he/she teaches a topic. A few questions that always crossed my mind are:
What if students are provided with a platform where they could ask questions and help built each other along the way of knowing answers?
What if learning was made fun?
What if a platform is provided where students can get answers to all of their questions without any peer pressure?
Only few know that by exchanging new ideas one broadens his/her own approach, & learn new things in course of doing so. As Benjamin Franklon said,
“Tell me and I may forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I may learn.”
My motto and my slogan is "Learning in a new way", which simply means to teach the masses in a way that is unique and appealing.
“That is what learning is. You suddenly understand something you’ve understood all your life, but in a new way.” – Doris Lessing
There are thousands of teachers teaching and mentoring people around the globe, who although I really appreciate I cannot help but acknowledge the fact that there is nothing wrong with applying new approaches in teaching, as teaching is all about passion and delivering what you know in a way that is always appealing to the learners, otherwise the result will be disastrous, & once a learner gets bored of a topic he/she wouldn't want to pay any heed to learn from it. Which ultimately proves to be a failure on part of the teacher, which the teacher should address soon.
To cut it short, it's a platform for guiding you people in a simple way. Here you will find all the stuff related to English Grammar, English Language, Literature, Exams Preparation, PDF Books & many other segments to make it one of your favourite blogs on internet. Last but not the least "Mentor Online" also offers Research Assistance, so feel free to contact us on our Gmail ID any time.
Thank You.
Uzair Ahmad.
